Best Beauty buys under $10

One thing all these products have in common? They feel and wear as if they were high-end products. It’s truly mind-blowing. I have repurchased these products time and time again, to the point where I don’t feel the need to try the expensive versions since these drugstore products impress me every time!

Elf Makeup Mist & Set

The Elf Makeup Mist & Set is my favorite multi-use spray that I have tried. It can be used before makeup for a little boost of hydration, or at the end after applying powder to help it sink and adhere to the skin better. For how inexpensive this product is, the sprayer is pretty good, not extremely fine as some other more expensive mists on the market.

I notice how fresh this product keeps my making looking all day compared to when I don’t use it. In terms of the scent, the mist is unscented. If you have sensitive skin or are sensitive to smells this won’t be agitating in the slightest. The packaging is wonderful and comes in different sizes. Perfect to keep the larger bottle with your makeup collection and a small one in your purse or to bring traveling. If you’re looking for a spray to provide some moisture and to help melt powders into your skin then this will be your best friend.

L’Oreal Paris Luminous Serum Tint – Rose 802

I have seen numerous times online that the L’Oreal Luminous Serum Tint is a dupe for various similar high-end products. This product produces an undetected glow where ever you place it. There is something so natural-looking and unique about how the light hits this product and the glow it gives on the skin.

I incorporate this into my makeup routine by making a little cocktail with my SPF, foundation, and this serum tint. Then apply with my beauty blender. Or other days I use this by tapping it on the high points of my face after foundation. It’s incredible the way this blends into any product that you mix it with or place on top of.

The formula of this serum tint is perfect if you’re trying to accomplish that model-looking skin that floats around online nowadays which I am obsessed with might I add! I prefer the look of this type of highlight to a blinding powder one. Don’t get me wrong, there is a time and a place for an intense powder highlight definitely. But on a day-to-day basis, or on no-makeup makeup days, this product will give you that smooth, natural, glow from within look on a budget.

Elf Bite-Size Shadows – Truffle

The way that these Elf Bite-Size Shadows perform for its price tag of only a whopping $3 is the reason why I adore Elf products so much. Elf is one of the only brands that are able to pump out amazing quality products, while still maintaining the low prices that they have made themselves known for. These shadows are one of their most stand-out products. I was blown away the first time I used this quad.

Not only do I gravitate towards these shadows on a daily basis because of how pigmented and luxurious the shades and quality are, but the convenience of the packaging is a huge plus. Gone are the days when I purchase larger palettes. They feel unnecessary and I simply don’t use them as much as compact and smaller shadows.

This quad contains my perfect crease shade, the darker down to emphasize my lash line and the outer v of the lid, the black for a soft liner, and a shimmer for the lid. Then, if I decide I need a brighter shade, I bring in my highlight and use that under the brow bone and inner corner. This quad specifically in Truffle gives me that soft and sexy shadow look that does a fabulous job of emphasizing any eye color!

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

The Ordinary as a brand came out of nowhere and just dominated the skincare world, and for good reasons. They made a point that it is possible to have quality skincare at a drugstore price. This Hyaluronic Acid is my best friend all year round. Although, this product can be finicky if it’s not used correctly. It took me a while to figure it out actually. If you apply this on your dry skin, you will notice this viscous serum gets completely soaked up which then leaves the skin feeling tight. Especially for severely dry skin, that is a nightmare.

You need to apply this product to slightly damp skin. Let it completely soak in before applying makeup or the rest of your skincare. This product makes my skin not only look smoother but also feel smoother to the touch. It creates a beautiful canvas before makeup application. I will continue to implement this into my skincare routine and I can’t wait to try more products from The Ordinary.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder – 100 Translucent

During the warmer months, It’s very much needed to keep a powder in my makeup bag. Since my skin becomes way less dry in the warmer months, a powder is needed to matte out the spots on my face that I don’t want the shine, especially if I know I’m going to be photographed. These places are under my eyes, in between my eyebrows and forehead, and on my nose.

What keeps me coming back to this powder is most definitely how smooth it makes the skin, but also the packaging. When you open up the compact there is a little compartment underneath the powder, which is where I store a disposable small sponge. This is the secret! That is how I apply this powder. I press the sponge into the powder and tap it into my skin. This creates the most flawless application. This powder works for all skin types which is why it’s a holy grail.

Dickinson’s Hydrating Toner

I didn’t realize how important this toner was in my skincare routine until I ran out of it, and didn’t repurchase it right away. After I wash off my face makeup for the day, I put this product on a reusable face halo type product and use it to make sure I took off every last bit of makeup. I became so dependent on this product that if I don’t use this after my cleanser, I feel icky that I still might have leftover makeup residue left on my face.

What I enjoy about this toner most is that it is alcohol-free. There are so many toners on the market that contain alcohol which causes the skin to dry out. My skin loves this product and it really does soothe my dry skin as it states on the packaging. I truly recommend using this as a double cleanse. Always make sure you fully take off your makeup before applying your skincare every night. Your skin will thank you!

Elf Lip Lacquer

This is the best $2 gloss you will ever come across. Elf killed it with this lip lacquer. It feels the tiniest bit tacky on the lips, which means less reapplying. It also has the wide paddle as an applicator which I love the most! It has a slight coconut vanilla scent, but it’s by no means overbearing. This is the definition of beauty on a budget, you would never think this was a drugstore gloss.
